Kotani was born from my own frustration. I was tired of clothes that never felt quite right—of everyday garments that weren't balanced or proportioned for my body.

I decided to create my own solution. I began drawing and shaping patterns by hand, designing pieces that finally reflected how I wanted clothing to feel and move.

Designed and made in Japan.

I'm committed to quality that lasts. Every piece is crafted in Japan, using fabrics I personally select for their weight, texture, and longevity. The result is clothing with clean silhouettes, subtle structure, and cuts that speak without being loud.
